This is Archer’s 4th year as a Cub scout and Atley’s 2nd. It’s my second year as the pack leader, and I’m determined to get the numbers of scouts back up near 35 kids again. I had a 6×2 got sign made for the bottom of my driveway, and the pictures are great, but the words are too small.
So this year, the boys helped me paint a spare price of plywood!
For my birthday party last year, I wanted to play board games for a day. This was the first, now annual, board game birthday party. We ended up starting around noon, playing a long game called Civilization: A New Dawn Board Game. It was a long, mediocre game. Then we played a game of Star Wars Original Trilogy Risk, which ended up being 15 minutes… Then the party was over.

This Year – 2020
First, I bought my own birthday present this year, because this game looked so fun. This game is called Project Elite. It is a real-time, co-operative game, where you all roll dice as fast as you can in 2-minute turns to try to fight back a large horde of aliens. The game comes with Miniatures for the heroes and aliens, so I got to paint all the minis before my party:
This year, we played:
Don’t Get Got
Project Elite: 6 games (only 1 loss)
INIS: 2 epic games…. (Ross won both)
Secret Voldemort (4 games)
The Crew: ( 4 attempts, 1 win)
Wavelength
Azul
We pretty much started playing Friday Night, then some friends slept over, and we woke up early to play from ~9:00 am straight through to after midnight.
I gave everyone a “Don’t Get Got” packet around noon on Saturday. It was the cherry on top of a great day of games.
