After doing some research and watching some videos, I decided to make a board game table with a cloth surface for posting cards and games.

I found this table on Facebook for $10, bought some cloth off ebay, and got to work.

So far so good. I’m happy with the padding thickness and the cloth is smooth. (I accidentally purchased the cloth that was too thin, but Carol had some quilting padding that have it a perfect thickness. If I do this again, I’ll definitely get the waterproof speed cloth.)

The two things I want to update are:

  1. Hiding the blue cloth edge.
  2. Thicker table edge to rest your arms on when playing.

Update: We played a couple hours of games on the is table now, and the edge was not as much of a bother as I though it might be.
